I don't like to dance! - Don't be fooled by the title of this track! The second Television Set release, the album "Moscow at midnight" proves that an old recipe works today as well as 25 years ago: drumbox, synthbass, catchy tunes and simple vocals. From skanfromish sounding tracks like the opener "Earth" to the earwigs "The city" or "I don't like to dance" and from the Depeche Mode-Coverversion "Television Set" to the titletrack "Moscow at midnight" this LP is a tribute to early-80s underground electronic bands like Absolute Body Control or Snowy Red. But although they are obviously the main influences for Television Set, there is enough room for the band‚s own great ideas, that give this album its remarkable sound.
