Trinity: Vampire

Absolute killer DJ cut to Heptones "Love Without Feeling" w/ heavy dubwise

They-Call-Me-Trinity’s best record, essential DJ music, originally out on his own Flag Man imprint in 1978 (and worth a trailer-load of Joe Gibbs). Over a murderous, steppers do-over of The Heptones’ cornerstone Love Without Feeling - dub-wise, with clattering drums and blurting bass - he chants himself into a lather about some bloke he knows, ‘going around calling people roach’ (and fancying himself a frog amongst insects).
‘It seems like you are not one of Jah Jah disciple… It seems like your mama only learn you about the bridle… Vampire… fire in your wire, let me tell you say you must retire.’
Trinity is so civically and spiritually livid that words almost buckle and fail him towards the end; whilst his lairy sidekick just wants the blood-sucker dead. ‘Assault him iyah! Kill him with assault! Kill him!’
