"Lakker – the Irish duo of Eomac and Arad – present their first ever mixtape, “Época Dub'd”.

Recorded live in summer 2019 in the Berlin studio of Chris Jarman (aka Kamikaze Space Programme / Raiden) on a Soundcraft Spirit 'Studio' 24-8-6 mixing console, “Época Dub'd” is a slowed down, dubbed out and edited mixtape of tracks from Lakker's 2019 R&S album “Época” and their extensive back catalogue. The tracks have been rearranged and reconstructed, processed through classic delays and FX and stretched into new forms far from the original versions.

Inspired by dub mixing techniques, granular processes of stretching sound and DJ Screw's “chopped and screwed” mix concept, “Época Dub'd” is a continuous mixtape in two parts spread over two sides of a limited hand numbered cassette, a journey exploring the arts of live remixing and sound design."
